These high standards are maintained through annual external auditing from Stannah along with the exacting Company procedures within our ISO 9001 Quality System.
Our engineering staff are factory trained through to NVQ Level 2 and are fully qualified to service and maintain the equipment they install.
Olympic Stairlifts has a 14,000 sq ft facility in Lisburn offering offices, warehousing and engineering workshops along with secure storage for a significant stock of new stairlifts and spare parts. Our investment in these facilities and the fact that we have a service team exceeding 20 members of staff means that we can respond to and repair any stairlift breakdowns, same day throughout Ireland.
In the event of a problem with your stairlift during normal working hours, vehicle tracking allows us to know which technician is closest to you, ensuring that our response is quick and efficient. Should an issue arise out of hours; telephone calls are transferred free of charge to our 24 hour manned answering service. They in turn will contact an on-call technician who will be in touch with you within minutes of receiving the call.
Normal maintenance visits are arranged with you in advance usually with a morning or afternoon slot. Our friendly staff will inform you of an approximate time and give the technicians name. All our field staff will arrive with Company identification, branded work-wear and in a Company van.
Whist we would expect that your stairlift to be reliable; it has many moving parts and safety systems which we recommend should be inspected, adjusted and lubricated at least annually. This both ensures that the equipment is operating safely and reduces the risk of a costly and inconvenient breakdown. We offer two agreement types:
Olympic Stairlifts will regularly service the stairlift to the manufactured’s specification, adjusting and lubricating as required and report any items which need replacement. An invoice would be issued after each service visit. Any call-out visits and spare parts would normally be charged separately.
Along with planned regular maintenance, Olympic Stairlifts will replace any parts required and respond same-day to any reported call-out to your stairlift. For a competitively priced annual payment in advance, you can rest assured that you will receive a first class service with no other costs to maintain your equipment.
