Like Olympic Lifts, Stannah Stairlifts are a family owned and managed business. The company was founded by Joseph Stannah in London in 1867 and primarily manufactured hoists and cranes. Stannah started to manufacture stairlifts in 1975 in Andover, England, and formed its partnership with Olympic Lifts in 1983. It is a partnership that has spanned over 30 years and it is as strong today as it was when it started. It is a long and valued relationship and it is one which we enjoy.
